Star Cleans provides laundry, ironing, and cleaning for domestic and commercial clients. The business started in 2020 using Facebook and word of mouth referrals. As a local business Star Cleans needed to dominate local search to grow. The first site was built on WordPress, their relaunch has been deployed using Horizon to help scale lead generation.

Alex first got involved in digital media capacity for Scuba Leeds in January 2016. Initially brought in to consult with social media and email marketing automation to help grow sales. When your existing online presence is outdated and your online shop is not driving sales, the question is what do you do.
Well in our case we decided to consolidate our website and online shop into one, ok daft or daunting or stupid you choose the words. But that is exactly what we decided to do here at Dive Rutland.
Finding someone who had the expertise of both websites and online shops and wasn’t going to charge the earth, well that was another challenge.
Everyone we spoke to tried to tell us how to run our business, tried to tell us what our competitors are doing, tried to tell us what our website should look like well you know what it is our online presence, we know our identity and we know who we are so just help us do that in an online space.
So, it took a while but Alex we found and amazingly he knew something about our industry. He took the time to listen and learn about us before helping with the setup of our site.
